Thinkpads coming to a Best Buy near you
I never thought I'd see the day when Best Buy would be shilling ThinkPads. Lenovo purchased IBM's pc branch in December 2004 and Lenovo has wanted to reach a wider audience ever since. Now they'll be reaching one of the biggest. Personally, I think they're a wee bit overpriced but maybe the yellow ribbioners can fix that.

Our company has a contract with IBM, so we all have Thinkpads. They're very well engineered. One of the best laptops I've ever had, actually. However, I'm with you. They're too expensive. I'll stick with a Toshiba at home, unless they lower their prices.
As long as the ocmpany is paying for them, I'm all for it! lol But for personal use, you can get way more bang for your buck somewhere else. We'll see if moving to Best Buy has any impact on this. I hope it does since they're supposedly pretty sturdy.
