  Japanese man breaks pi memory record
Akira Haraguchi, who is 59 years of agem was able to recite the first 83,431 decimal places of pi even after having to stop 3 hours into his first attempt because he lost his place. He almost doubled the previous record and hopes to get listed in the Guinness Book of World Records.
