Google to give your city the 3D treatment
Looks like Google is going to be using that make-a-3d-map-of-a-city software we blogged about a while ago. Most likely to hook into their existing Mapping service. They apparently hope to do this for as many cities as possible, even overseas. I think how quick they get this out will be key. That would be freaking kewl though. I wonder if the people in the way at the time of the "scan" would show up somehow...would probably have to sign a "not gonna sue" disclaimer but that would be worth being a part of Google history!  ¶ 1:52 PM
