Even at work the fat just melts away!
Mayo Clinic Obesity researcher Dr. James Levine has desvised a way for people to burn calories while at work
, working on their pcs. Basically, instead of standing still or sitting at your desk, you walk on a treadmill. You only keep a 1 mph pace so you don't break out a sweat but that's enough to burn and extra 100 calories an hour which can add up to 1,000 a day if you work 10 hour work days (madness!). Now if we can get something like this in elementary schools or high schools than maybe we could curb this obesity epidemic.
