Robots will soon be able to learn and prioritize
Some Aberystwyth University academics (led by a Professor Mark Lee) are hoping to build a robot that can think for itself. Ultimately, they want the robot to be capable of making decisions, learning from their mistakes (what kind of mistakes?) and being able to prioritize their tasks. As long as this technology eventually leads to a toy like "Teddy" from the AI movie. As long as I can get that toy and not have to worry about being thrown out my window I'll be ok.
