Eff my last post, kind of
Thinking about it some more, maybe they didn't need to do any more testing than they had already done. I mean, at least it something new and it's out. How long does it take everyone else to get some new product out. By new I mean new as it not playing catch-up by something really new. Granted, web "accelerating" technology isn't new (look at netzero's "hi-speed" access which is really just an accelerator-caching type thing anyway) but Yahoo or MSN hadn't planned on coming out with anything like that. I commend Google for their ability to get something new out and for trying to make things faster/easier for people. The fact that it can screw up web forums or just general browsing now and again kind of stinks and exposes some security risk and that could be huge. I'm sure they'll fix it. They were pretty quick to jump on their Desktop Search product with fixes whenever a flaw was found.
