Tech: Wireless USB 1.0 coming sooner or later Wirelss USB version 1.0 apparently should be approved by mid-May. The specs allow for 480 Mbps for up to 3 meters with lower speeds up to 10 meters. more details here. Hope this gets approved soon, I hate switching cords between my printer and external hard drive, making sure to safely remove the USB device each time. Why not by another cord you ask?
