iPod: iPod Video on the way? Woah. Apple has contracted Alphamosaic to use the powerful pixle pushing chips they make into some kind of future mulitmedia device. The chip "excels in high-quality 3D graphics performance with the capability to support pixel shading and volumetric lighting with low power consumption, making it ideal for use in mobile gaming applications and comparable in performance to home consoles.". So basically this means that everyone (including me) will be waiting to see exactly what this means for Apple. Is there going to be a new iPod. An iPod video maybe that you can take amazing quality videos with as well as awsome looking still shots? Who knows, we might find out in Janaury at the next MacWorld expo, we might find out sooner.
